What are the risk factors

The new outbreak of COVID-19 is caused by a group of viruses Coronavirus. Its always been unclear as to how contagious is this new virus. Data has shown that it spreads from person to person through close contact. It is also said to spread through respiratory droplets released by an infected person.

Risk factors for COVID-19 appear to include recent travel from or residence in an area with an ongoing spread of CVOID-19 as determined by Centre for disease control and prevention or World Health Organization. Another plausible risk factors include people coming in close contact with someone infected with the virus- such as when a family member or a health care worker takes care of an infected person.
