GLUTEN- A Benefit Or Harm To The Body?
Gluten is a collective term that refers to various types of proteins found in grains, including wheat, barley, rye. Gluten is basically an umbrella term that refers to a family of proteins called prolamins (found in wheat), and these proteins are resistant to digestion. Gluten proteins like glutenin and gliadin are highly elastic and hence used to make bread and other baked foods. Gluten-containing foods and grains make up a large portion of modern-day diets. How does gluten
